About Kinselas
Kinselas is a pub on Taylor Square in a building that once operated as a funeral chapel, a past still visible in the Chapel room with its ornate art deco ceiling. The hotel trades from 10am to 4am daily, with a bistro serving pub classics, and the Middle Bar and the Standard as further spaces.
The weekly program leans queer and playful: karaoke on Mondays, Queer Sketch Club on Wednesdays, trivia with drag host Jackie Daniels on Thursdays and DJs in the Chapel on Fridays and Saturdays. It also hosts Mardi Gras viewing parties. In January 2026 Kinselas opened Dead Set, a basement hard rock and punk bar entered from Little Oxford Street.
