About Colombian Hotel

The Colombian is an LGBTQIA+ pub in a triangular 1936 building on the corner of Oxford and Crown streets, one of the most visible venues on the strip and a favoured spot for watching the Mardi Gras Parade. It runs over three levels: a street-level bar with booths, a refurbished upstairs cocktail lounge and a newer rooftop bar with live music.

The pub holds a late licence and trades from 9am to 6am every day. Iris Capital bought it in 2016, and in 2026 the Colombian was offered for sale through JLL alongside the nearby Gaslight Inn, with expressions of interest closing on 1 October 2026.
