Darwin

Darwin’s nights live outdoors, with Mitchell Street’s beer gardens, piano bars and DJ rooms running to 2am or later, and a handful of laneway cocktail bars and the Waterfront close by.

Mitchell Street

Darwin’s main late strip, a few blocks of open-air pubs, an Irish bar, a piano bar and a DJ beer garden, with a taxi rank on the street on weekend nights.

City laneways & Waterfront

Smaller, later-opening bars tucked off Smith Street and Austin Lane, the Mayberry band room, and the Precinct’s dance floor down by the Waterfront wave lagoon.

Alice Springs

Alice is a small town with a small late scene: a rooftop bar, a few pubs with bands and dance floors on Todd Street, and a casino deck across the river, and most of it winds down by 1 or 2am.

Todd Street & Lasseters

Nearly everything after dark in Alice Springs (Mparntwe) is on or just off Todd Street and the Todd Mall, with Lasseters a short taxi ride across the river. It’s a small scene: most nights wind down by 1 or 2am.
