About Squeaky Clean
Squeaky Clean is an upstairs bar at 45 Verity Lane in Civic, reached from the laneway. A VisitCanberra listing calls it a community bar built around local beers, burgers and tacos, with happy hour, pool competitions, trivia and live music.
The venue's own site says it is open seven days, 4pm to 2am, with the kitchen closing at 9pm. Thursday starts with a pool competition at 7pm and a hip hop house party at 10pm. Saturday is a pool night from 5pm and Sunday has free pool all day. Trivia runs on the first Tuesday of the month.
HerCanberra's September 2026 guide to alternative music venues says the bar hosts independent and hip hop music and lists Wednesdays for local and live music. Its 2024 winter gig series featured free Friday shows by Canberra bands, so the live programme has varied by season. Check socials for the current line-up.
