About Mooseheads
Mooseheads is a long-running pub and nightclub at 105 London Circuit in Civic, in the Sydney Building area near Northbourne Avenue. It spans multiple levels, each with its own music and atmosphere and its own cloak room. The ground-level pub serves casual pub meals and snacks, and the nightclub runs above.
The nightclub trades Thursday to Saturday into the early hours, with the pub open from late morning Thursday and Friday and from 4pm Saturday. Nights include DJ club takeovers, themed parties and student-focused events. Recurring names include Hardline, Oktoberfest and UV Party; an Oktoberfest night is listed for 24 October 2026. Entry is 18+ with accepted photo ID, and a smart casual dress code applies.
The venue calls itself Canberra's most iconic late-night playground and has operated for over three decades. A 2021 Canberra Times report described it as the city's longest-running nightclub, with the operator, Caftor Pty Ltd, described as private.

Light rail ends at Alinga Street, in the middle of Civic, and City Interchange (the bus station) is a short walk away. Late rideshare pick-up zones are on London Circuit, Genge Street and Alinga Street.
