Grinners Dive Bar

132–134 Elizabeth Street. Tacos, burritos, cheap jugs and one of the latest licences in town.

About Grinners Dive Bar

Grinners is a grungy Midtown dive bar built around tacos and booze. The kitchen does Mexican-style street tacos and fusion tacos on house-pressed corn tortillas, plus burritos, loaded fries and jalapeño poppers, and the back bar leans on tequila and mezcal. Upstairs there is an open fireplace.

Weekly deals include $12 margaritas on Mondays, cheap tacos on Tuesdays and $15 burritos on Sundays, with $18 jugs during the daily 3pm to 5pm happy hour. Live blues plays regularly. Founders Ben Wells and Jordan Dunn opened Don Frico in Battery Point in 2026.
