About The Winston
The Winston is a corner pub at Elizabeth and Federal streets in North Hobart, styled as an American dive bar with US licence plates, old beer signs, a pool table and a pinball machine. It is a locals' bar, and dogs are welcome.
The owners run their own nano-brewery, The Winston Brewing Co, on a 300-litre kit a couple of blocks away, and its beers are sold only at the bar alongside a long list of other taps. Food is American-style, with big burgers and rotating burger specials.
