About The Lord Gladstone

The Lord Gladstone is a pub on Regent Street in Chippendale, on the edge of the Central Park precinct. Benny Johnson and Mitchell Crum took it over and gave it a makeover in 2019. It keeps an old-school front room with tartan carpet, tiled walls and a big screen for sport, plus a graffiti-covered courtyard and an upstairs gallery called Goodspace.

Live music is a big part of the program, with local bands, open decks nights, DJ residencies and queer pop nights in a room of about 150. Gig listings show shows several nights a week through 2026.
