About Bank Street Social

Bank Street Social is an underground cocktail and whisky bar in the basement of the former State Bank building on Hindley Street. The space is a warren of exposed-brick rooms with high ceilings, reclaimed timber and a library ladder reaching a back bar of more than 300 spirits, with a focus on gin and whisky.

It was started by Shaun Campbell and Simon Orders. DJs play funk, soul and disco on Fridays and house and party favourites on Saturdays, and stone-baked pizza is served alongside the drinks. The venue takes exclusive hire for up to 200 guests.
