About Dickson Taphouse
Dickson Taphouse is a pub at 30 Woolley Street, Dickson, about a three-minute walk from Dickson Interchange according to VisitCanberra. It serves around 18 rotating craft beers, local wines, spirits and cocktails, and has a beer garden with a pool table and dart board.
A December 2025 review in RiotACT says it opens from 11:30am seven days a week, with the kitchen closing at 9pm. Happy hour runs 4pm to 6pm Monday to Saturday, and a cocktail happy hour runs 8pm to 10pm on Friday and Saturday. It is run by The Meem Collective, which also operates the Old Canberra Inn in Lyneham.
Live music is listed every Friday and Sunday by VisitCanberra and HerCanberra's January 2026 pub guide, and the ACT Government's May 2026 guide includes it too. Other weekly nights are Wednesday trivia, Tuesday pool comp and Thursday burgers.

Getting there
Light rail runs from Alinga Street to Dickson Interchange (five stops) and to Macarthur Avenue for Lyneham; the last service from Alinga Street is about 1am on Fridays and Saturdays and about 11:30pm on other nights. Downer and Belconnen are bus, taxi or rideshare trips (Rapid 3 and 4 serve Belconnen), so check Transport Canberra for the last service.
