When the bars stop serving, what runs late and where to find a ride, city by city.

Perth

Closing times

Northbridge’s clubs (Connections, Geisha) run to about 5am on Fridays and Saturdays; most cocktail bars shut between midnight and 2am. Check each venue before you head out.

Trains

Transperth runs later trains on weekend nights from Perth and Perth Underground stations, but the last departures change, so check the Journey Planner before you leave.

Fares

Since 1 January 2026 Transperth uses a flat ‘Go Anywhere’ fare, and travel with a SmartRider is free on Sundays.

Taxis

Supervised taxi ranks run on Friday and Saturday nights on Melbourne Street, Northbridge (next to Rosie O’Gradys) and at 140 William Street in the CBD. You can also book Swan Taxis on 13 13 30 or Black & White on 13 10 08.

Rideshare

Uber and other rideshare apps work across Northbridge and the CBD. Walk to a quieter side street to meet your car.

Fremantle

Trains

Fremantle Station sits at the end of the Fremantle line, a short walk from South Terrace. Check the Journey Planner for the last train back to Perth.

Taxis and rideshare

Rideshare is the easiest option late, or book Swan Taxis on 13 13 30. Mojos in North Fremantle is about 2km from the town centre.
