Late cocktail bar

Midnight Rambler

Earl Street, Launceston. A speakeasy-style cocktail bar with a blues and rock soundtrack.

About Midnight Rambler

Midnight Rambler is a speakeasy-style bar hidden down an alley off Earl Street, near Brisbane Street. It opened in late 2022 under Nate Cairns, owner of nearby Bar Two, who based it on the speakeasies and dive bars of the American South after working in Texas bars.

The room is dark and low-lit, with retro furniture and pool tables. Blues plays early in the night and rock later. Drinks focus on cocktails, whisky, local spirits and American craft beer, and the bar often stays open until 2am.
