About The Met

The Met is a large nightclub and live-event venue on Wickham Street in Fortitude Valley, near the train station. A 2019 sale listing described it as a three-level building with five bars. One listing gives its opening year as 2006.

It is known for electronic dance music, with big-room EDM acts such as Skrillex, Hardwell and Steve Aoki named among past performers. It also runs concerts and festivals, and ticketing sites list 2026 events there, including shows on 7 November, 28 November and 6 December.
