About The Beat Megaclub

The Beat Megaclub is a Fortitude Valley nightclub on Ann Street that describes itself as Australia's longest-running nightclub, founded in 1983, and as a long-standing LGBTIQ+ venue. The site lists six dancefloors with DJs playing styles from old-school retro to R&B/hip hop and big-room EDM, plus drag performances.

In September 2026 the freehold was reported sold to a Sydney developer, with the club's operator staying on as a tenant for now.
