Walt & Burley is a lakeside bar and pub on the Kingston Foreshore, in a corner position on the shore of Lake Burley Griffin. A 2021 article notes a fireplace seating area and big screens for watching the week's major games.
The venue's site lists live music, Tuesday Trivia, happy hour, an express lunch, kids' and feasting menus, takeaway and delivery, and private functions by the lake. Coffee is served, particularly on weekend mornings, and there are numerous beers on tap. A December 2025 HerCanberra guide recommends visiting when music is playing and gives opening from 11am daily.

No light rail. Buses run from City Interchange (check Transport Canberra for the route and the last service), and after about 11pm most people use a taxi or rideshare. It is not a walk from Civic.
