The Kingston Hotel, known locally as The Kingo, is a traditional pub on Canberra Avenue in Griffith, just outside Kingston. A weekendnotes profile describes dark wood panelling and a maze of hallways from later additions, with three main areas: Maddies Bistro, The Steakhouse (with a central barbecue for cooking your own steak) and a Sports Bar with six pool tables. There is a large beer garden and a side verandah, and Maddies has two original fireplaces.
The venue's site lists a Public Bar opening at 10am daily, Maddies, The Grill, a bottle shop and a takeaway. It lists no live music or event program; the weekendnotes page mentions only background music. Treat it as a pub and dining stop rather than a music venue.
