About Beach Road Hotel
The Beach Road Hotel, known locally as the Beachy, is a double-storey pub in the heart of Bondi. It has four island bars, a dog-friendly beer garden and a second courtyard upstairs, and draws crowds for big sporting events.
At night it runs what it bills as Bondi's biggest dance floor, with DJs and live bands on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. Acts including Coldplay, RÜFÜS and Fisher played there early in their careers, and touring bands still play the room.
