The Warehouse
The band room at The Mansfield, 743 Flinders Street. Townsville’s main stop for national tours.
About The Warehouse
The Warehouse is the band room at the Mansfield Hotel in Townsville's West End. In the 1980s it hosted acts such as Jimmy Barnes, Midnight Oil and INXS before closing late in that decade. Australian Venue Co revived it in 2022 with a $1.2 million renovation of the band room and beer garden.
It is now one of Townsville's main stops for touring bands, with recent and upcoming shows from Jebediah, The Living End, Eskimo Joe and Katchafire, plus tribute nights and local acts. Hours are noon to 11pm Sunday to Thursday, and noon until late on Fridays and Saturdays.
