P.J. O'Brien's is an Irish pub on Lake Street in the heart of the Cairns CBD. It pours Guinness and Irish whiskey and serves traditional dishes such as Irish stew and steak and Guinness pie alongside pub classics, with daily food specials.
Live music is a regular feature, including Irish music gigs, and Tourism Tropical North Queensland has listed it for bands on Friday and Saturday nights. Tuesday is trivia night and Wednesday is karaoke from 8pm. The pub also screens major events and hosts functions.
